Bradbury House Training, Learning & Development
The Bradbury House Group is committed to training, learning and staff development. We provide a comprehensive induction and training programme.
Employees are provided with regular competency tests on key areas of social care policy and regulation. Individual services also hold bespoke training sessions which are tailored to the needs of the service users accessing those services.
In acknowledgment of the importance of training we have our own training department, led by our Director of Training and Health & Safety.
All our employees are trained to meet statutory, mandatory and specific training needs. We train above and beyond the minimum requirements in order that we can better meet the needs of our service users.
While we utilise some on-line training this focuses mainly on mandatory training. We believe that learning should be collaborative and a shared experience. The majority of our training takes places in groups and is centred around the people we support, the shared experiences of staff and has a strong emphasis on being interactive. Training varies from role to role, with specialist training provided to ensure employees have the correct skillset and knowledge base to do their jobs.
